The Recovery Cafe is controlled by The Right Key (Lisburn) C.I.C.
The Community Interest Company (or CIC) is a relatively new type of company established by the Companies (Audit, Investigations and Community Enterprise) Act 2004 and regulated by The Community Interest Company Regulations 2005. The CIC model is designed to provide an effective legal form for enterprises which aim to provide benefit to the community or to trade with a “social purpose,” rather than to make a profit. The company is therefore in existence because of the support from a number of organisations including the following:
  • All Service Users.
  • Big Lottery Fund.
  • TBF Ministries.
  • Irish Temperence League.
  • Arts Council NI.
  • Armagh City, Banbridge, Craigavon Borough Council.
  • Addiction NI.
  • All our Volunteers
  • All our Families and Friends of the Right Key.
We however still need donations to enable the cafe to survive and to enable us to spread the word that there is hope, a future and a good healthy life in recovery. If you wish to make a contribution to support the work that we do, kindly please contact us for further details. We would like to thank you in advance for the support.
We also really need donations of hardwood, consisting of old furniture such as old wardrobes, cupboards and other hardwood furniture which is no longer required. If you are unable to deliver, we maybe able to collect the furniture that you would like to donate. Please contact us for further details.
